Psalm 5:12 (NIV), Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favour as with a shield.
Welcome to the month of Favour for Wonderful Results. This month of March, I declare that you will have a testimony of favour. You will produce wonderful results that will bring honour to God.
Favour is what eliminates frustration from our lives. We know that frustration can come in different ways. Its ultimate purpose is to destroy and stop the will of God for our lives, but favour stops frustrations.
The Psalmist says that the Lord will compass us with favour as a shield because the Lord has blessed the righteous.

Favour is a blessing for the righteous from the Lord.

Those who live right, who obey the Lord will enjoy His favour

Favour is a reward for the godly not for the godless.

This month God will reward you with His favour in Jesus name!
What is a Shield?
1. It is a broad piece of metal or another suitable material, held by straps or a handle attached on one side, used as a protection against blows or missiles.
2. It is a guard, defence and covers against danger and risks.
When we apply the meaning of shield to our main text we see that favour is very powerful.

A life without favour is a life that has no covering!

Favour will cover you always

A life without favour is a life that can be exposed to blows and missiles of this world

A life without favour is a life that is not protected from rejection and disappointments.
Three People that were Massively Shielded by Favour
1. Joseph
We see that the favour of the Lord upon the life of Joseph protected him in Egypt. Joseph was so surrounded by favour that even when he was a servant in the house of Potiphar he was the one in-charge!
Genesis 39:2-5 (NLT), 2 The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master. 3 Potiphar noticed this and realized that the Lord was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did. 4 This pleased Potiphar, so he soon made Joseph his personal attendant. He put him in charge of his entire household and everything he owned. 5 From the day Joseph was put in charge of his master’s household and property, the Lord began to bless Potiphar’s household for Joseph’s sake. All his household affairs ran smoothly, and his crops and livestock flourished
Joseph was set up and falsely accused. He could have been killed by Potiphar but the favour of God landed him to a prison where royal servants are kept.
Joseph was covered by favour and he was put in charge of the prisoners right in the prison.
Genesis 39:2, 2 Before long, the warden put Joseph in charge of all the other prisoners and over everything that happened in the prison.
2. Queen Esther
Esther was also protected by favour when she appeared before the King without being invited. Do you know that could have cost her, her crown and even death?
Esther 5:2, And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near and touched the top of the sceptre.
Instead of the King to be angry at Queen Esther for disrespecting Him, he was so pleased to see her because Esther was shielded by favour.
3. Nehemiah
Nehemiah was shielded by favour when he appeared sad before the King.
Nehemiah 2:5-6, So the king asked me, “Why are you looking so sad? You don’t look sick to me. You must be deeply troubled.” 5. Then I was terrified,I replied, “If it please the king, and if you are pleased with me, your servant, send me to Judah to rebuild the city where my ancestors are buried.6.The king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked, “How long will you be gone? When will you return?” After I told him how long I would be gone, the king agreed to my request.
The shield of Favour broke the protocols, and the king gave him the permission and provisions he needed to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls.
We see that these people were shielded by favour and they could fulfil their God-given destinies.
I declare over you in Jesus name, you are shielded by favour and you will fulfil your God-given destiny in Jesus name!
Two things will happen when you are shielded by favour!
1. God will cause your head to be lifted
Psalm 3:3 (ISV), But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.
2. You will not be a victim of sorrows but unfailing love of God will come to you.
Psalm 32:10 (NLT), Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD.
This month of favour till eternity may every trace of disfavour be expelled from your life in Jesus name!
Every favour killer character or spirits around your life, I command it to die in Jesus name!
I prophesy massive favour open doors for you and your entire family in Jesus name!
